Crimson II = Awesome

I've been waiting about 4 years for this to happen. And now, when the time has come, I can't afford it.
It's tragic.
And you might say: Download it. That's difficult with modem. heh

well.
You say it's good as fuck, but is it better than Crimson I? ..
 
I can't afford to actually buy this album until Friday, so I've been listening to the 38 minute version for the last 2 days. I actually like the idea of this version missing something. It will make getting the real version all that much sweeter.

At any rate, this album RULES. Truly an EOS album, and probably the best album of the year.
 
From seeing the posts from people from Brasil or any other 3rd world country i think its ok for them to download albums online. The price just seems too expensive when you dont earn as much. Us americans or europeans dont have an excuse though! We earn enough money not to complain about high album costs! Its fuct up that a minority can have all the wealth while the majority suffer.

Unfortunately, that's how it is. Even in the U.S., the richest 1% control 95% of the wealth.

Obviously, middle class Americans still have WAY more money than most 3rd world country citizens.

I even had losw of cds when i could buy them..
but now..our economy is going down again...and im taking piano lessons...saving for a new keyboard...
things waayy ore important than cds...at least for me!

and fucking yeah! i love crimson II!
im getting the crinson I last week (YES! The original one)
ahaha i just coundlnt resist it was like for the half of the price that im used to pay for a used one
so i bought the fuking thing haeuaeea
just rules so much! ehe
ahn if the prices get lower when released in Brazi...im defnitely gonna buy the 2nc one eheh
 
And those 1% ruling America doesn't really have to work. This pisses me off.

If I would have been one of those 1% I wouldn't care. But now I don't have any money at all.

Yupp, downloaded Crimson II some days ago, and have heard it ten times or so by now.. Can`t really say I`m that impressed. I`m not that much into the whole DM-thing anyway, but I enjoyed some of the EOS-albums Dan participated on (Purgatory Afterglow, Crimson etc) This new Crimson-chapter is for me to predictable, hard/heavy section with growls, slow section with clean vox, hard/heavy section with growls and so forth.... I miss Dan`s clean vox over some of the hard/heavy parts, and I also think that he should have growled in some of the slow sections, just to create a different mood. But hey, who am I to tell Dan what to do. A descent effort this one me thinks, but I hope Dan will focus on Ngale in the future. That`s where he and his talent shines

If you have a computer with an internet connection, I wouldn't say you're "third world". Hell, I'm living on less than 12,000 dollars a year, and I can barely afford the internet here in the US.
 
Does anybody know whos is the "rough" singer on Crimson II.
I've heard and I'm convinced after listening to it that it's is 100% not Dan Swanö for the growls. So who is it. It's definitely not Mike from Opeth (a pity I think, but sometime wishes have to remain...).
The clean vocals is Dan of course.
 
I don't like it at all,really. It's far from Moontower or the best Edge Of Sanity stuff or Nightingale in greatness. It seems like Dan tried to blend them all too much.
I think that the soft stuff that he's been doing kicks ass anyway so I don't think he should really concentrate only on metal stuff as Steingrim said...but Moontower II would rule.
