Darkthrone -translivanian hunger? SUCKS?

I love every single kind of black metal excpet "true black metal." I love everything from Abigor, Behemoth, and Immortal to Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth. I love bands like Vesperian Sorrow, Emperor, Enslaved, Anorexia Nervosa (though slighlty bored in recent years) Ephel Duath, Old Man's Child and even Mayhem. Yet I am not a fan of Burzum, or Darkthrone. they simply do nothign for me

You can be right yet not know what you're talking about. As for Darkthrone...good band, though it took me a while to appreciate them.

Darkthrone are one of the mighty black metal kings of olde. Their earlier material is outstanding, but I would have to agree with a bad review of the newer material.

It is very good.. very atmospheric death metal... the only release from Darkthrone I like

Yes....*listens*......I hear clean vocals and total keyboard saturation. Oh wait! Was that a blastbeat? BR00TUHL!!

It is more whimpy, anyone can hear that.

Don't get me wrong though, I like this material.....all I was saying is that DB's sound is not all that extreme, so they have a big fanbase, which makes it unsurprising they're on Ozzfest.
