@Slayed Necros Possession rocks. I emphasize this a lot, but I like my black metal to be fun and filled with heavy, headbang-able riffs. I like stuff that's very in tune with the roots of the genre.

It was pretty good, it started strong, but my interest waned throughout the course of the album. The Hail album was pretty primal, stripped-down music, but everything was firing on all cylinders. W.A.I.L is a bit more ambitious, somewhat to its own downfall for me. Too much focus on frills like keyboards and unconventional riffs, not enough focus on getting all the basics down. /

I actually didn't finish it, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but it didn't blow me away, despite having some really good moments.

Fair, I wasn't being that specific, I more just meant black/death in general, like the South American sound. stuff like Hail, and then the Eastern European and Hellenic scenes. Nifelheim is good though. I asked because you're always listening to heaters lol.
