Death Metal Bands

I like this, especially 1:50... Älvestam's vox rocks.
Another awesome album coming...

after scar symmetry, all the bands he has been since sounds almost the same it's getting really repetitive, I deleted the solution 45. album from my files actually :s hope he gets something different next time, the few against many album was good but still quite scar symmetry alike... dunno, miseration's last effort was a fresh touch, hope he gets more br00talness and less melody in future projects cause his voice dominates :)

Never listened to any of the bands you talk about (of course I have heard Scar Symmetry but I dont like them at all, never listen to them)
Miseration sounds pretty good, have to chek them out some more.

Otherwise I think Torchbearer has found a sound of their own (maybe because I have listened to them ALOT, Warnaments is amazing), the way they use blastbeats with the melodies isnt very common imo, not really the general mix of rhythms if you ask me.
To label the new tracks as generic and "sounds like everything else" just cause there are loads of melodies, like some people seems to do (no names :) ) is lazy.
Also have to keep in mind that its a sideprojekt.

dude, listen to miseration and see what I'm talking about, then listen to the few against many and see what I'm talking about  solution 45. was more scar symmetry alike but the torchbearer song sounds like an emperor version of miseration, I'm not saying it's generic for the genre but for a christian a. project it is... listen to this songs and tell me if you see a patern or not... I would say it's clear, cool vocals, some keyboards here and there and modern sound, even the chords these bands use sound quite alike... unmoored is older than most bands here (if not the oldest) and it has all the elements of all the bands I'm showing you... solar dawn has just one album but is a great old-inflames like band already dead, still his best effort :) see and judge by yourself, I like all this except for solution .45 so don't get me wrong, chris is good but it does sound all quite the same.

from miseration's last album: (good album, no clean vocals)

from miseration first album: (good album, some clean vocals)

the few against many: (more modern but still quite miseration alike)

scar symmetry: (me likes ss so fu)

solution .45: (boring ss-like band with even more pop choruses)

unmoored : (before scar symmetry, when his bands sounded much much more unique)

solar dawn: (the best he has done)

It has many similarities, but I hear more similarities between those tracks (except Solar Dawn-track) than latest Torchbearer-albums.
The chug-riffs are very similar, but the melodies they use in torchbearer feels different with more solos added (maybe SS has similar stuff though? Sorry, I cant stand the faggotry singing for more than 10 secs), and the songs seems to have much more diversity.
