FIrst, it is very hard to compare these two bands, because of their history and genre development. It's like comparing Pantera with fucking Dream Theater... Death developed from pure death metal to prog/death metal, while COB developed from power metal to t(h)rash/nu metal... Death sold more albums than CoB... IMHO, Death > CoB > 99% of metal bends

Absolutely right, but if these two bands still are compared, I'm totally for Death Death was and is and remains more proficient in making Metal, one band hardly ever reaches such a high level of technicality as Death has reached, musically and lyrically as well. Death's music is not just sounds for headbanging, it has certain sense. Sure there are many great bands, including CoB, but Death is the greatest of the great, the Legend that never dies, I'd say.

Well, I own all Bodom and Death CD-s, been to both Bodom and Death concerts... Believe me, I've heard more than enough of both bands...

There is no comparison. Bodom is great, but they are no competition to Death. Each Death record and accompanying lineup is fantastic. Especially considering what time did to Death (Control Denied ) and what time has done to Bodom (everyone hates them, although most didn't know (nor care) who they were before Hate Crew).
