Despised Icon is breaking up

Dammit, I was just starting to get into this band. This however, is a bit of good news for fans here:

If all goes as planned, we’ll also be touring Australia and Asia for the first time in the fall.

All a matter of taste, I guess...cuz when I saw them, they were rather boring.

One less kung-fu pit inspiring band, I suppose. That was the worst part about seeing em live...not that they were boring, or that pig squeals can get boring after a while, but the fucking kids doing the gotdam kung-fu pit bullshit.

I've never been a fan of them but Alex is a fucking phenomenal drummer.

He is, but he said there would be a lot of traditional march drumming influences on the new record. He didn't quite cut it in that aspect. But zero-dynamics wise, he's godlike.

Didn't really like the newest album in general either. I liked MVP, but there were too many slower songs which aren't what I liked about them. The two albums before the newest are both fucking great though

Despised was pretty good for a death core band. I agree with Catharsis. Saw them about 2 years ago and they were great.
