Okay ladies and gentlemen,

me and Rahvin are sort of planning a road trip to Germany for this summer. Who is willing to put up with us for a night or an afternoon? We have no idea so far of the itinerary, so suggestions from any German are more than welcome!

hyena (it's a long way to the bubu land)

since i got no apartment i can call my own, i have to disappoint you... as for the travel route, i suggest a visit in cologne. see the dome, drink some kölsch (a special sort of beer only brewed in cologne itself) and things like that. munich also seems to be good for a visit, but it's quite expensive. what do you want to do in general? see the world and have some action or rather relax?

@vultureculture: thanks, even if you don't have a place to spare. ;)
i think we'd much rather see your country and have some action than rest. in fact, we're planning to move a lot and visit what's there to visit. we don't just want to go for the obvious monuments and places and stuff: less-known quaint sights and happenings could be our cup of tea also.

rahvin. (get your bubu moving)

like my farewell-concert with my nearly-ex-band sometime in august? :) this indeed is a less-known sight

unfortunately, we're likely to go there in july, but if there's the smallest chance we'll be happy to wave hankies at you on your very last gig with your soon-to-be-ex-band  :p

do you sell t-shirts with "i went to germany last summer and saw a less-known band live and all i got was this lousy t-shirt"? ;)

rahvin.

i could print some of these :)
soon-to-be-ex-band: since i will move away at least 350 km from my current location, rehearsals won't be able any more.

well I can give you some acomodation, but well....now I realize that I don't live in Germany

fathervic (who saw a sparkle of being helpful, but in the end he realized, that in fact....he was not German ;) )

your offer was so moving that i think we will accept anyway, and the three of us will spend our german/spanish vacation crying on each others shoulders thinking longingly about our sensitivity and sweetness.

I'm sorry being not able to give you a home for some nights - my parents would kill me and you,too
But let me know if you stay in Heidelberg - it's a nice town ;)

nah, we're not that bad: we would not kill you if we were your guests. ;)
we'll think about checking heidelberg out, tho. if it's so full of killer parents we can't miss it. :)

rahvin.

i love the idea! we already have two stops on our route it seems... keep the proposals coming, and we won't kill anybody!

well, well, worthy cousins... depends on when you want to come, i will move to another city quite soon so i cannot tell...
when, what, where?

thanks, good pal! :)

when: possibly at the very beginning of july. if we don't make it, then it's for august (beginning/middle)

what: why, our trip to germany ;)

where: wherever you want us to.

rahvin. (thank you! thank you!)

you should as well consider visiting one of the old "kz" (that's where the nazis killed hundreds of thousands of jews). not that it will be funny, but i think everyone should have seen this at least once. just to keep it in mind.
as for more pleasing locations: don't go visiting castles, museums and stuff like that, you will see them everywhere else. try to catch a sunrise at the nordsee while sitting in one of those beach boxes... maybe visit some underground caves with stalagmites and stuff... or visit an old coal mine in the ruhrgebiet. rent a car and drive at 250+km/h across the autobahn, europe's only one with no speed limits :)
just do something you can't do anywhere else...

we'll definitely have to _rent_ a car if we are to do such a thing. my car would never dream of doing 250, and rahvin's is even shittier :)

hey!
she'll remember you called her shittier next time you're stranded in the middle of bu because your latest would-rather-not-be lover has had yours carried away. :(

my car can go anywhere, and we'll visit all of these chupi places on her or underneath her. :p
