Probably because my father and brother are both conspiracy nuts. Their theories are often so silly, so off the wall, that it makes me crazy.

I haven't heard their theories on this one, that's specific to the Pentagon 9/11. My mother, whose apparently joined the Conspiracy Theorists Association, was trying to tell me the plane over PA was shot down.

of course ... like i said ... I been to the Pentagon and remember seeing insanely tight security (this is pre 9/11) and cameras every 10 feet out in the parking lot ...

so what the gov't is saying is that there is not ONE camera that captured this going down? i mean this is a fucking plane we are talking about !!!

a fucking ATM camera can capture me doing a withdrawal ... but there is no evidence of a plane hitting a building with cameras recording 24/7

The main problem is people automaticly jump on the conspiracy bandwagon when they feel that evidence isn't immediatly apparent. At least be in limbo, as there is no evidence showing that anything else specific was to blame.

I'm with lurch on this -- it's not so much about a plane hitting the Pentagon, it's more about the absurd bullshit about not having real footage.

I'm sure we can all agree on that one: there is no picture evidence of a plane hitting the pentagon, and yet there must be AT LEAST 50 cameras (gas stations, hotels, parking lots, street surveillance) that would have caught something.

Otherwise I'd say they have some real security problems at the Pentagon if cameras are dummies, not working, or non-existent.

My friends father works at the Pentagon, I've visited there several times. I wouldnt doubt a dozen other cameras captured the incident, but hell if I have any idea what really happened.
