Dimebag is dead

Just curious.. If either Pantera or Damageplan were to play a few tribute shows in the future (for example, this time next year), who would you think would fill in on guitar, if anyone?

Zakk Wylde? Patrick Lachman?
I guess they'd be the obvious choices. Or maybe guys like Hammett, Mustaine, Kerry King, etc, could share the roles on various songs?

Just read the Gene Simmons interview - I'm 99% sure he meant it was released as a promotional thing (i.e. not necessarily for people to be buried in), but it ended up being requested by the family for actual use as a coffin.

I'm sure there'll be a tribute show, and it'll be a very emotional event. Darrell seems to have been loved by all who met him.

I'd say you're right, Rob. But it was a pretty ambiguous comment. He should of said that the Kaskets were originally designed as a promotional tool. The way it was said, it sounded like he was giving them one as a promotion. :) Anyway, Zakk Wylde would be the only guy who came close to Dime's style, so I'd go with him.
