Dirge, I dont know why I jsut dont like the dirge much. Great album all the songs are great. Thanks mikael and the rest of the guys for making it for us to dwell upon.

"Dirge for November" is one of my favorite songs. It's beautiful. The flow and arrangements are <i>different</i> in such a manner that complements the album.

Easily the best song on BWP (followed very closely by Drapery). It's among the Top 3 Opeth masterpieces, as well.


Every aspect of the song OWNS! The intro is heavenly; the heavy riffs and the monstrous vocals slay all; the outro is pure bliss.....BUT most importantly, the wonderful, melodic, total-emotiona solo that erupts at approximately the 2:30 mark is simply sublime.

This song is Opeth in a nutshell!
