Do not buy Apple products... ever

They are certainly very good in terms of ergonomics and design. I may say that occasionally they fail or work a little weird, like the iPod whirring and not showing anithing on the screen (not to mention the white iPods with faulty batteries, I had to throw away my first one, it died after one week of utilizing), the wireless ADSL connection not showing the main server way too often...

...anyway I'm a proud owner and user of a Powerbook G4 17" and a more recent Powerbook G4 15". They still are much much more useful and better than any Windows PC I've ever got near.

The only thing I think apple makes that the utmost piece of shit is the mighty mouse.

Who the fuck makes a mouse with a wheel that can't be cleaned easily. Good features, it's notsupposedtobeopened reality makes it shit.

Nice Safari now has spell correction (I just upgraded to 10.4.11 and safari was updated as well)!

We've got a few machines at uni, and i recently investigated- pretty poor spec i think they were though. I am tempted to try and get a bit of a hackintosh on the go with leopard James. Maybe that would sway me to the dark side...
I've just upgraded the PC to an intel quad @ 3.6ghz with 4gigs of RAM (and of course my beloved new 8800gt), so maybe i should get giving it a go!
 
i love the mighty mouse, and Brett, i use the ball on the MM to zoom just fine, thanks.... but yes, it's hard to clean... hoping for a change in that regard with the MM V.2

No problems yet. I was fucking around with beat detective last night and no hiccups.

There are 2 things that I have noticed that get an "awsome" grade in my book:

The updated safari it now has spell check!

When I unzip files they unzip over the zip file slightly off angle. It's nice if your unzipping multiple files.
 
I started out on mac when I was 9 (my dad was into it).. then on my 17th I had that "gaming" period so I needed to have PC, sold my Beautiful blue Imac and bought a f&**&^&*( PC...after just 6 months I had more then enough of it.. sold it...tried to get money with all kind of dirty jobs and managed to get an used G4. No I have a G5 (old version tho)...but I'm soooo happy with it..
I might be saving up next year for a new G5 :-)....
