i was all about my Kensington Expert and Turbo, er.... "mice" for years... but tried the 360º scrolling on the MM just one time and switched, the scroll ball is just that cool. but i'll concede readily that they (Apple) do need to make them user serviceable.

Horizontal, vertical, and diagonal scrolling in any DAW is a godsend. I love that I can switch between horizontal and vertical scrolling by hitting a button on my expert mouse. I LOATHE those little arrow bars.

Does anyone here feel that the clickwheel on the new iPod Classic (and apparently Video too) is very bad compared to the one of the iPod Photo (only one I had to compare)? Very hard to scroll precisely to where you wanna go...

Well, I have an iPod bought last year (not the new classic), an 80Gig and the wheel IS erratic most of the time.
I suspect it has something to do with my BIG hands, if I'm not careful with my thumb it picks electric signals after I made the choice and therefore it shifts the menu bar one or two positions away. Not a major issue by any means.
