I like Lacuna Coil, Novembre, Sadist, Necrodeath, and Aborym. Metal from Italy certainly doesn't all sound the same, so it is hard to generalize.

I like Bulldozer, Death SS, Necrodeath, Schizo. I'm not too familiar with Mortuary Drape but what I've heard I've liked.

seeing metal from my ancestor's country is always badass. 2 generations ago, my great grandparents came over from Italy, so I love seeing metal from there. o yeah and Dr. K, The Prowlers rock. \m/ ^_^ \m/ I like your drum setup, too. Nice sound POWER METAL FOREVER!!!!!

Aborym, Nefas, Theatres des Vampires, Psychofagist, Soul Grind...... I don't know that many Italian bands, but from those that I do know, I think it's pretty cool stuff. =)

when you compare American metal with other nations' metal, usually the other nations' metal wins 90% of the time. Probably just because most of us Americans are lazyasses (come on admit it) and not even almost as focused as people from different countries.

The only bands from Italy that I can think of that I love are Lacuna Coil and Novembre. Two excellent bands though!

I hate Theatres Des Vampires but Altar of Perversion, the amazing Forgotten Tomb!!!, Frostmoon Eclipse, Handful of Hate, Opera IX, Aborym, and amny others are great.

Lacuna Coil is a great band and Cristina is probably the most beautiful female
in metal. Besides...Rhapsody is quite funny!

A few were already mentioned. But my favorite Italian band is Green. They have a kinda' Rushy-Pink Floydy-Van Haleny sound to them. They're worth checking out.

I also like Labyrinth. Some really good rock band from Italy.
