King Diamond = Total Ruleage
Mercyful Fate = Total Ruleage

Listening to this just last night:

Track #2, "LOA House".... <- total speed metal fury in KD fashion :kickass:

I'm playing catch up these days with his 90's material. So far, Voodoo is working it's way up the ladder but right now, The Eye is at the top!!! (from his 90-00 era).

By the way, I'd say Conspiracy is MASSIVELY underrated. Everyone knee-jerks their attention to Abigail, but you can't dismiss Conspiracy, Them, and The Puppet Master.

He deserves so much more than to be on Metal-core Blade Records. Next time he tours, I'm taking the day off and going in early. I'm not missing him again. :(

Abigail II -- I own this, but haven't given it enough time. I fell in love so quickly with Puppet Master, I ignored Abigail II (unfairly).

*man babies*

Abigail II is really worth getting into, IMO. But then I never really got into Puppet Master in a big way, I should dig that album out and give it another listen. I have:

King Diamond – Abigail
King Diamond – Abigail II – The Revenge
King Diamond – Fatal Portrait
King Diamond - Joker Up My Sleeve, Gothenburg, Sweden 11/19/87
King Diamond – The Puppet Master
King Diamond – Them
King Diamond & Black Rose – 20 Years Ago A Night In Rehearsal

So I'm thinking The Eye next. That said, I've heard good stuff about The Spider's Lullabye and The Graveyard too. Hmmm.

I'll talk about "The Graveyard" I guess... one of King's most insane performances, pretty cool
