i don't watch many movies, nor much TV. Better things to do, like sleep or go outside.

Alien was a pretty good one, counts as a horror imo.

Oooh, forgot Alien, great flick and yes, I'd count it as horror. Still not as good a HORROR movie as Event Horizon, though.

28 Days Later sucked crap, at least it did once they met up with the soldiers. What a fetid, steaming pile of dung that 2nd half was.

@IT: i would agree but i think (good) movies, unlike TV, are worth spending time watching and appreciating the craft...really getting drawn into a movie like alien or dawn of the dead is different to me than channel-surfing for 2 hours. also TV just reminds me of how much i despise american popular culture so i avoid it ordinarily.

actually i dont remember any of the sequels. i was trying to start an argument because i dont have anything to do.
actually, i have an incredible amount of shit to do but thats just as good a reason.

dead alive!! gore is way cooler than horror, but i havent really seen much of either. id rather laugh at dismembered body parts and gallons of blood than like, actually get scared or something.

I would add "The Tenant" and "Don't Look Now" but they are more thriller than horror, the horror they have is pretty intense though.

Deep Red (I guess it's not so much a horror film as the rest)

Evil Dead 1 and 2 (fuck you, army of darkness)

I don't even need to list the classics, The Shining, Omen.. I'd say those are typically always a given

and yes I'm obsessed with zombie films, so add a big list of those in here too.

oh I forgot to add Pet Semetary 1 and 2 (maybe that falls under the list of zombie things though )
