In a nutshell, I really have to try hard to get past Labrie's vocals. IMO, he simply has a very ugly voice. Simple as that. Lucikly, he seems to have toned it down on recent releases (I still can't listen to either Awake or Seasons....his vocals simply murder the songs).

Even though I didn't expect to come back to the thread like this, I really can't say I'm suprised. In general, a majority of the people that post regularly on this forum are arrogant, obnoxious, assholes. There are, of course, exeptions, but dickhead members can make the greatest forums suck. I like to come here every once in a while but it's really getting old to see threads get hijacked to become a flamefest on some internet personality.
And to waz416c, do you seriously hold oral conversation in the same manner that you type? I can't even stand to read your posts and I think it's obvious why. Not only do they annoy the shit out of me grammatically, but a majority of the ones I have read do not give any meaningful insight to the conversation.
Rant aside, I think I understand why (generally) there is the dislike for Dream Theater now. Thanks to those that put forth ten seconds of effort to form a decent thought/opinion.

Lixxx honestly there was a huge Dream Theater thread a mere few weeks ago here... you could probably find it not even going back 4 or 5 pages... hence why this thread is mostly just backwash

I know a few people off a specific forum site. They were admins. Were always making the wrong decisions on who to ban. Not only that but they were beyond the most annoying people off that site. It's quite obvious why the forums are now dead off where I used to go to.
