Use hidemyass.com ! Worked fine for me!

Thanks that worked! Although I felt like a criminal using that kind of tricks to watch what others can watch without any boundaries.
Is roadrunner such a big label to make this kind of movies that look like MTV series? I enjoyed it though.

I like how Derek was playing blast beats during the song. lol. And I agree with Petrucci... it doesn't seem like playing with Derek was as smooth or comfortable as it was Mike.

I can see now why people are assuming Mike is the one that was already chosen.... afterall, episode 1 was an entire 20 minutes dedicated to just his audition, whereas all these others are combined. lol

But Virgil's audition was pretty good too it seemed. Even though he seems old enough to be their dad. hahaha I wonder though how his physical endurance would hold up during a DT worldwide tour.

Marco is a fantastic player as well. I couldn't even take him seriously, despite his amazing playing.

However, after watching all of these auditions, Mike still stands out as the best, by far.

I haven't watched the 2nd video yet, but I can tell you that I saw Virgil with Steve Vai a few years back and the guy was astounding for the entire 2-hour set. Not quite as demanding as DT stuff but the guy was hitting hard and tight the entire time, with no signs of slowing down. I'd say he's got another decade or so before his body really catches up with him, and he's only got 10 or so years on Petrucci.

Mike or Marco FTW, these two guys bring so much energy !

As they said, watching Marco play gives you an instant smile, I think it's a good thing for such a boring band to watch live imo.

The question is : when are they doing the new singer audition ?

Not surprisingly Derek Roddy wasn't convincing at all. It doesn't mean he's not a good drummer but he's totally out of his comfort zone here. And the blastbeat and the improvisation part... That was awkward.

Mike and Marco definitely the best so far. I prefer Marco just for the energy and joy, but the fact that the look on Mangini's face makes me feel a little awkward might factor into it :)

Well...if it wasn't obvious enough from the first video that they'll choose mangini....

I agree that Mike and Marco were the best ones so far (or the videos made it seem that way), I do think that mangini was overselling it a bit though with his expressions while playing.
