I think it's a cool conversation piece to have one of your records on vinyl. But really that's all it is.

I highly doubt the process was made to only accept mp3 files. Most likely you can feed waves to your hearts content and the MP3 tag is just to get a large group of people's attention. It sounds flashier to say, turn your Mp3s into records, vs "get your CD's, rip them to wave, and then repress to vinyl!". It's still going to be shit quality, but neat none the less.

According to the other thread no one on here but me can tell the difference between .mp3 and .flac so it should be fine!
