hi guys,
yet another mini review from the london gig. apparently quite a lot of the people in this forum are british (or are just in UK at the moment) which is really surprising!
Well, i went to both Bristol and London gigs. In Bristol, the gig was not really advertised, plus Bristol was rather close to London, so that resulted in not many ppl there. Still, the guys came out and gave a great performance!
After a rather surreal wandering through some misty streets in the middle of nowhere, trying to get from the tourbus in a Northern London parking lot to Kingston (where I live) at 4:30 in the morning, and arriving there at around 8,I got to the London gig the next day.
I was sure that that would be a great show. The gig was sold out and everyone was in for it!. didnt get Griffin either one of the times so I cant really comment on them. Sinergy I saw just in London, and though I can appreciate some songs, I really thing that the vocals dont fit at all. I am not the greatest fan.
Well time for DT. That rocked! It was really a long time since I had so much fun in a gig! I guess that was partly to my gig-mate, a crazy friend of mine from athens being there. We were all over the place,in the mosh-pit, jumping, singing... it was GREAT! Of course then, Monochromatic Stains was about to be performed and this resulted in yet another awkward moment for me (first one in bristol) being introduced as the video director, lil-ol me in the middle of the mosh pit
Unfortunatelly I had to leave early to get a coach to Middlesbrough were my graduation was on the next day! (Almost fell asleep in m graduation but that;s another story). so I missed around 35 mins of the show
Oh well, next time!
