Hi all

does anyone know what amps exodus used when recording the another lesson in violence live record?

furthermore, how about the tempo of the damned album?

i bet it's gary's modded marshall, but apparently they are using XXX and JSX amps, and used to use dual rectifiers.

any info?

hah! i knew it, the link in your sig reminded me of something :D
yeah, nice to be here.

ah, and by the way: any more info??

thanks a lot!

well....rick is on the left and gary`s on the right side iirc?

i wonder how close those sounds you hear on that cd (i`m talking about the live one by the way :D ) are to the actual sounds that were recorded? did you do a lot of EQ`ing or other processing?
because that guitar sound on the left side kicks my ass :D garys(?) sound is a bit thin to my ears...good bass and clarity and stuff, but lacks some mid punch IMHO. ricks sound on the other hand is very full and clear, but also smooth.

if thats what a 5150 sounds like i got to get one asap :D
seriously, kataklysm - serenity in fire, kreator - enemy of god, and now this one....contrary to its reputation the 5150 keeps sounding great on records.
it is said to sound chainsaw like, without a lot of definition and waay too much gain. those albums mentioned above however don`t sound like a chainsaw at all :D

studio cheating or true??
