Explain your nickname

I am in a Christian metal band, and I have named it Serenity Painted Life after Opeth.



Really, I love the song, but thought that all the permutations might have been claimed by other users. So I quickly came up with this one. Not really much of an explanation, I suppose.

My nickname is from a Nachtmystium album that I once held in high regard, but it's not that good anymore with my musical taste further progressing. Not just because of the sole fact that it was an album, the name also evoked a strong Nihilistic idea which I used to adhere to. In a sense, instinctually all things lead to death, and eventually decay in the grand scheme of life. Which in itself does not last forever, and will eventually cease to exist.

Moonlight = I like the night, I like taking long walks under the company of the full moon.

Orchid = A flower I always liked, it can be as mysterious and beautiful as a rose but not as cliche.. Plus Orchids can grow in a blue colour where as most flowers cant.

Actually, Orchid have been reknowned for "healing" people, through history. Mayas used it alot as a medicinal plant. I'm not sure, but I think it was spiritual healing.
