Extremely hard to pin point but i'd say the three that smacked my face the most would be Bathory's Blood Fire Death, Slayer's Reign in Blood, and Possessed's Seven Churches.
Unfaithfully Metalhead said:Blood fire Death came out in the 80's? i know Bathory self titled and Born under the Sign of the Black Mark were... but anyways i always considered all three of those bands as Black Metal for its time and not thrash though by today's standards it is thrash... and in some circles Possessed was consider the originators of Death Metal... but for me the best or fave thrash albums were Metallica's first 3, slayers Reign in Blood (i'll put them on this list), Megadeth Peace sells, Sacred Reich Ignorance, Suicidal Tendencies How can I laugh , Testament Practice what you Preach, D.R.I. Four of a Kind, etc.. etc.. too many to name actually....
Actually it was '88. But I agree that Bathory were Black Metal and Possessed were Death Metal.Sacramentum said:I'm probably correct but I may be off by a year...Blood Fire Death came out in '87.

I love Testament's Practice album, too. I just prefer the debut over it and I also consider The Legacy to be a lot more thrashier so it fits this thread a bit better. Same with Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning. As for Bonded By Blood I have to say that I've never rated it as high as everybody else does. A few months ago I had a nice discussion with Hawk about the Exodus guys and he talked me into giving them another chance. So I bought Pleasures Of The Flesh and I have to admit that Hawk proved me totally wrong. I just love POTF. A killer album and leaps ahead of the debut if you ask me.Unfaithfully Metalhead said:WAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!! but ill forgive ya because you like Motorhead and i worship them hehehe :hotjump:
So it isn't any better than here. *sighs* I was hoping that I could ask you to get the Xentrix disco for me and I would have sent you something from here in exchange.baldyboy said:pretty much impossible sarge,to be honest
if you need a package sent out to germany, just ask-they are both great albums
Sorry, but "Mental Vortex" was released in 1991.Wyvern said:Just 80-89...
Coroner - "Mental Vortex"
Could it be a split album? I´ve got one from 1989 and side one featuring Lawnmower Deth is titled "Mower Liberation Front" while side two featuring Metal Duck is titled "Quack ´em All".baldyboy said:also to add to the list, more british thrash bands that were cool
