I'll also add, I LOVE Kendrick's To pimp a butterfly. That album was a revelation to me but I don't really like his other stuff half as much.
I like some of Tech N9ne's stuff
I have a soft spot for 2Pac's Me against the world and All Eyes on me albums.
A bit of Death Grips ain't bad either
Eminem has some interesting music too, I respect him but don't listen to him often.

In particular check out a tune called Moviedrome by Life MC, it's a 6 and a half minute rap that is composed almost entirely of movie titles, actors etc.

My favorite rappers at the moment are Kendrick Lamar and definitely J. Cole. J. Cole's repping my home state well. And Kendrick, that dude is rapping about some real life stuff and has that flow that's perfect. I feel he could be the spokesperson of my generation from a hip hop perspective

probably not as much as eminem. After hearing revival. I'd say eminem is definitely overrated. Still one of my favorite rappers. But he can be overrated

That's a little true there. I mean I liked Revival. But a lot of it I felt was political pandering. Which he struck some points here and there in untouchable, but it was so blunt and bias I couldn't even.... Joyner Lucas did a better job tackling what Eminem did on that song. Same thing with "Like Home". But out of that whole album, I only liked so few songs. But at least it's better than Relapse.
