Symphony X - DWOT
Opeth - Bleak
Pantera - Cemetary Gates

(theres more, just cant think off the top of my head atm)

Tad Morose - "In the Shadows"
Metal Church - "The Spell Can't Be Broken"

I cant just pick ONE but my top10 faveourites would have to be

Metallica - Master of Puppets
Edge of Sanity - Crimson
Nile - Unas Slayer of the Gods
Symphony X - The Oddyysey
Dissection - Where Dead Angels Lie
Pink Floyd - High Hopes
Nightingale - The Glory Days (the Nightfall Overture version)
Opeth - Wreath (I would pick Bleak over this... but with this song it relates to some really good memories ;))
Decapitated - Three-Dimensional Defect
Deströyer 666 - Genesis To Genocide

Some of these would change by the month or so though...

Symphony X stuff is my favourite by far.

epic: The Odyssey
heavy symx: A Fools Paradise
soft symx: Candlelight Fantasia

others.......

Pantera - Cemetary Gates
Opeth - The Drapery Falls
Children of Bodom - Kissing the Shadows
DT - Home
LTE - Acid Rain

Rachmaninov - 3rd Piano Concerto
Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata

etc etc.....

This is tough as nails to determine...there is a standoff between:

Symphony X - Through the Looking Glass
Symphony X - The Accolade

But I wouldn't be surprised to see these two take it either:

Savatage - Believe
Kansas - Carry on Wayward Son

Green Carnation - Light of Day, Day of Darkness.
Which, I guess, also makes the album one of the best albums ever.

A runner-up would be King Diamond - Black Horsemen.

another (s)

The Odyssey song
Fallen
King of Terrors
The turning

Bal Sagoth- Hammer of the Emperor

I could keep going on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on.

Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons

Others I need to mention:

Symphony X - Redicovery, Candlelight Fantasia
Vanden Plas - I'm In You
Everon - Not This Time

So many awesome songs out there.
