Good call J-man Straight Line Stitch has been a band I have liked for a while.

check out the french band Eths I discovered them while listening to Kells.

I've never listened to Xandria previously, but their latest landed in my review queue and I was pleasantly surprised. Anyone missing the old Nightwish sound ought to love this one.

I'm really looking forward to the debut album from Huntress. Total NWOBHM feel to this song. Jill Janus has an amazing four octave range and it doesn't hurt that she's a former playboy model :devil:

Oh my goodness bro Pat, where do I start to tell you how many great ffm bands are out there? I for one am glad that metal is not a sausage fest anymore. And now I am waiting for the day when a band is looked at on music quality alone and not the gender of its members. :)

I think many are looked on for music quality alone, the ones that are just showponies don't last very long in this industry, record companies and promoters don't like to showcase crap bands, it makes them look bad.
