FIREWIND has just confirmed the first European dates for 2008 as part of a package with KAMELOT and VISIONS OF ATLANTIS.

FIREWIND guitarist Gus G. stated: "I'm glad we're finally able to confirm a full European tour together with our buddies from KAMELOT! As if the excitement wasn't enough when we announced the Japan tour with them, the idea popped up to do the full European run in 2008. What a great way to start the next year! We can't wait to come back and play for all our fans as well as make new ones."

Please come travelling with me. In Scotland it is the Easter Holidays! So I'm off for 2 weeks, hence lots of dates! My manfriend is working most dates though.........so it SUCKS and I'll likely be travelling alone...

I already got ticket for the Oslo show, and i'm going to Progpower UK in late March and have planned to visit friends in UK the following week, i will probably be at the London gig as well.

May 1st is a holiday in Norway so i might pop over to Stockholm before the Oslo show May 3rd.

So, at least two shows, maybe 4:)
 
I'm going at both SWEDEN tours! Better catch you up there kirsty or else!

Besides, don't think I'm going to denmark sadly though :( Cuz of these 2 tours in sweden and I feel my lack of time and money creates the problem itselves :(:(:(:(

Wolves more likely as it's a Saturday night and always better for
us travelling to gigs on a weekend.

05/04 - London - Birmingham by bus - £1 - then Birmingham to Wolverhampton by train - £3.60 RETURN.
06/04 - Wolverhampton to Birmingham by train then Birmingham to Amsterdam by plane - £21.
07-08/04 - Couchsurf in Amsterdam :)
09/04 - Amsterdam - Antwerp by train €15
10/04 - Antwerp to Paris by bus - €19
12/04 - Paris to Pratteln by train - €15
13/04 - Pratteln to Milan by train - PRICE TBC
14-15/04 - Couchsurf in Milan
16/04 - Milan to Athens by plane - €27
17/04 - Athens to Thessaloniki by train - €11
18/04 - Thessaloniki to Sofia by train - €15
19/04 - Sofia to Belgrade by train - €22
20/04 - Belgrade to Budapest by train - €20
22/04 - Budapest to Glasgow by plane - £20.

And that is the first part!! I fly to Germany for the Essen and Hamburg shows then back to Glasgow then to Sweden to see the last 3 dates!!

lol, I didn't mean at your place XD

I just meant nearer to the time for Amsterdam and Milan I'm going to find someone on couchsurfing.com that wants to put me up for a couple of nights so I can get steamin'....or in the case of Amsterdam....stoned, whilst not having to pay to stay in a hotel XD

TBH - most places I plan on staying in hostels or counting on meeting awesome people that'll let me stay at their house/hotel ^_^ I mean I let people stay at mines if they are from far away and have nowhere to stay at gigs :) Just cos I'm awesome obv :p

Also, I'm off the booze for now after Tuesday night (need to post that damn story in the Party Stories thread but it isn't as effective without the picture!!!!)...but we shall see how that goes.

Ah man, I don't wanna go down to wolves...why can't they play at Manchester or Sheffield orr somewhere in the Yorkshire Dales would do for me :D:D
 
lol. I don't understand Wolverhampton either. Stupidly isolated. Hard to get to.

Manchester however. Easily accessible from everywhere in the UK and also to foreigners as there is an airport near. Also. £1 on the Megatrain from Glasgow...ye cannae go wrong there :p

^^ I'll be at these two, new job means I get less time off work so...first and last sounds good to me :) Don't approve of the Carling Academy tho, I can think of far better venues but beggars can't be choosers and all that...
 
I hope i can go to the London gig. >.< Hopefully there will tickets in the new year when i have some money.
