I still think that they have better team than France, but during the game I felt that they would finally lose the game.

I support Brazil now, but I think that Germany has a real chance to win the trophy. Although the match against Argentina is very difficult.

I do not agree, just talking about this game.
Spanish defence was crappy, whilst France defence was quite solid. both attacks were equivalent and also in the midfield.
In general, the level of France was one level higher.

You are right, France was better in this game and deserved the win. I meant that -in my opinion- Spain has more potential, but its players cannot prove it on the pitch.

And on Monday night I understood why you (the French football fans) admire so much Franck Ribery. Perhaps he will never be as good as Zidane, but he is a very talented and useful player in your squad.

and this is was the game that i waited for so much.....i really love both of the teams......

Although i wanted germany to win (Damn patriotismn) I agree with that. there should have been a penalty for Argentinia once, and some germany players would have desered a yellow card whereas Agentinia wouldn't. I'm sorry for you mates, i think it is due to the reason that the Worldchampionship is in Germany that the refrees are for Germany


Actually i would have prefered to win/loose in the match actually and not with penalties! Whats the use for watching 120 minutes of game if you decide it with Penalties... *sigh*

Yeah, in the history of World Cups referees always try to help the local country AND Brazil. And I agree with that penalty thing, It's better to see a game that doesn't end in a tie, I watched 120 minutes of game just to see a 5 minutes deffinition

Congratulations my French friends! Your team has played a really nice game and deserved to win the Brazilians who were dissapointing. I thought that they would play better at the serious games, but at the first time they met a strong team they lost.

Now we have two tight (and completely european) semi-finals:

Germany - Italy
France - Portugal

The Game France - Brasillia yesterday was awsome! I really couldn't hold myself back, i kept walking up and down until the 90 minutes were over. I realy don't believe it, Brasillia is out...the favourite is gone! It's impossible!

but when these brats play for instance African teams with players who are on maybe a £100 a month how is it England stuggle to win? have we all been fooled into believing that the more money players make means they must be better players than the poor guys? obviously this is not true as England are an average team now knocked out of the competition.

there's no way brazil would repeat the same mistake...

my predictions for now...brazil defeats france 2-0
italy beats ukraine 1-0
germany beats argentina 2-1(probably on extra time)
and portugal beats england 1-0 in the last minute after rooney or beckham get a red card for doing something stupid like tackling figo when he doesn't have the ball
