I think this world cup have had lot of surprises. The things that people use to expect didnt happen!! And well I think all the teams gave us surprises day by day...!
hahahah but well the reality is Italy vs France... I support Italy with the forgivness of all the french people on the forum... !!!

Mate talk to your neighbours before getting all friendly with the Germans cause thats denial. What happened in germany to the jews has happened all through history to all different peoples, most countries and peoples have been treat disgracefully at some piont. That is why its always important to treat each other with respect..and that is "Today"........fuck the past and the future whats important is now. Support Palastine not Germany, Because theres always another Holocaust just around the corner for someone. But maybe if we all stop talking bollocks "Like im a jew and i support Germany" then maybe things will change. I doubt it though. We are all watching football and at the same time millions are dying in Africa because of Aids and what do we do? ...nothing.....A bit like world war two really, millions being gassed to death while people were watching sport...................Happy Christmas.

Of course it's a football thread, so let's talk about some football...

Another World Cup comes to the end. France vs Italy, like Euro 2000.

I remember that six years ago I supported with passion France, but now I 'm a bit confused. The Italians have shown that they have a team of good quality and that they deserve the trophy. At the other side there is the king Zidane and some other great players (Henry, Ribery, Gallas, Vieira etc.).

I can't make a choice, I only hope to watch a nice final.:)
 
well Germany put up a great show today against Portugal
3-1 with 2 goals by "piggy", great job by Kahn too...I'm happy with the result
mostly because I hate Figo(alway did,don't know why) and that dirty trick Christiano Ronaldo put on Rooney to get him to recieve a red card...that asshole doesn't deserve to play in Manchester United and I never did like the Portugal team...

in the final I wan't italy to win just because I was always a fan of Italy and the Netherlands ever since i could remeber myself watching the world cup(that would be USA 94' when Italy lost to Brazil on penalties in the final)

oh to the french supporters (that would be Yannick station82 and Ollo)...you know i was kidding about the whole "wankers" thing and besides I like Zidane ever since he played in Juventus and I am a Juve fan, I like Viera too

I think that France will win this game... Unfortunatly, I'll be gone all day, I'll miss the damn final! Anyway, both teams were outstanding throughout the tournament. Awsome win today by the Germans.
 
The game was great, really.

Germany celebrated like they won the final. It's cute you call Schweinsteiger "piggy". In Germany we call him "Schweini" which is actually the correct translation:) and i was really annoyed by the Diva C. Ronaldo. Everytime he entered the penalty area he seemed to suffer from higher gravity and somehow found himself again lying on the grass.... surprise surprise.



For Tonight i will raise my voice for France, for Italy kicked Germany and we don't support this :p no, I'm just kiddin, i've always liked France, and i was very happy when they became worldchampion in '98 (? correct me if thats wrong...) Bartez was the king in that night. For Zidane i think it must be the last game for the national team so i would like to give him the present of becoming worldchampion with it.

And i wish to see a great match...not like those in the halffinaly with one goal and after that nothing goes and players seem to be like puppets standing around.and i dion't want a penalty shooting either, cause this is no way to make out the world champion. We could have drawn lots 4 weeks ago though.

Sure, I think it's important for Zidane to win the last match of his career, he became a model for lots of french people and we've to support him for the last time! As I previously said, I'm not a football addict but this time I'll support the team and also the country! It's very important for the social cohesion, we need to won today ! :kickass: :kickass:

And Italy won the trophy... I feel that it's not a fair result, because France played better, but when the match goes to penalties all can happen.
 
France played better by far. It is not a fair result indeed.
but hey, it's only football, right? :)
I regret Zidan's behaviour, though. Its a sad way to end a career with such non-ethic act.
So for my Italian friends I am happy.
Pour mon amoureux et mon amis in France I am dissappointed because this team deserved to win tonight.

I'm thrilled Italy won
They deserved it for playing well the whole tournament...
The 2 goals at the last minute against Germany
the whole first half italy played better and the penalty france was awarded wasn't justified, they should have got a yellow card for sharade...
and the ugly thing Zizu did which ended his career in disgrace...

anyway my condolances to the french people and france supporters in this forum but 2nd place isn't that bad...
and Congrats to all italianos and italianas!!!

I think it was really nice game.....
both teams are amazingly good....and i didn't know who i wanted to support....
but after what Zidane did, i really wanted Italy to win (although they are reponsible for the fall of Germany!).....

i think France is a better team....and played amazing.....
so i applause for both teams!
it was a really unsuspected month!
