Hey guys,

As an attempt to give back to this nice community, I have decided to (try to) offer a free reamping each month (as much as I can handle it with my schedule).

So how will this work?

Well, bands (or musicians, or even mixers) will have to send me their applications by private messaging (posting in this thread is not valid). I just request from you a link to a myspace page with some infos about the band, the format of what you want to be reamped (this can be a song, a demo, an EP or even a full length album - even quad-tracked including leads) and audio tracks to listen to. Then I will chose between those applications (well, if I get any or at least more than one...) which one will win. Yes, that's totally unfair since this is totally subjective, I know, sorry about that but hey, it's free...

I hope this will work out fine, we will see what happens here...

For this first one, you have until November 1st to submit.

Cheers,

Brett

Wasn't trying to sound like a dick; I've just dealt with way too many clients who send me shit that isn't edited right with buzzy tails, string noise, etc. Makes me want to kill people :)

I have to send DI's to the guys that will mix the band I recorded last weeks and he doesn't want edited DI's.
I had edited all the DI's togheter with my miced tracks and I had to restore the unedited tracks... Matter of taste I suppose

Oh dude I totally feel you. I just got a project that was sent to me and 3/4 of the tracks have ground loop hum on them. I am making them re-do all of it ... ughh the frustration!
