Since the Je-1000 is not made anymore, what's the best gain boost mod in your opinion ???
And btw I personally think the fact that all Alexi's solos are filmed and not Janne's is scandalous !! In Tuska, it's really fuckin' scandalous !!!

That is right because Kramer guitars will usually have that perfect tone anyway dispite of amp/effects! (j/k)

ps.
Anyway my new Ibanez 7240 volume knob is oxidized sounds like an old English pre-world-war transistor under intense electrical stress, so if you see the designer for that guitar kick him in his Japanese ass for me!

try the EMG things, the afterburner and the pa2, the PA 2 will look like alexi's but i think the AB has more of a boost

EDIT - the AB is also 20dB of gain, but its adjustable right on the guitar. . .the PA2 you have to open it up and turn the gain trim pot, its tiney any 1/4 inch wide, maybe smaller.
the PA2 just says on and off, the AB is a puch/pull with a pot right on it. . .

The Je1000 alexi has is one little switch, doesn't it ? Does it have the same size than ab or pa-2 ?
Where did he put it ? And is there something wrong with passive pick-ups, it works better with active ones ?
If I have the idea of its size I gonna take the AB coz its 57 and the PA-2 is only 38 ... I guess the cheaper the worst ..
