i like viii but it's pretty gay. the battle between the two gardens toward the end of disc 2 was really fucking cool though, i remember my mind being blown by some of those video sequences

X is the best. Period.

X was really cool, but I like the gameplay and feel of XII more, though X wins plotwise.

i prefer all the games from 4 to 9 over 10, but yeah it's prob better than 12 at least storywise

XII's story is more epic, but they make these characters that seem like they're probably cool and then don't go anywhere with that.

Yeah, VIII did have a couple of cool scenes. I still hate it though.

For an example, when the garden starts flying. It seemed awesome, but I was disappointed to find out that I couldn't cross mountains and such. Guess I had to wait for Ragnarok.
And also, the time compression sequence was awesome.

Both Kingdom Hearts games are overrated as fuck, but the first one is solid. The battle system in the second one sucks.

I had another session with FFXII. I explored the Necrohol and the wasteland (good training but little of interest unless I find the fucking medallion and that robot hunt is fucking impossible at my level (57)). Then I went back to the pharos lighthouse (100 floors and I had to start again from the bottom). So I finally get back to the fucking bird boss that gave me so much shit and I'm kicking his ass when my mom comes in and just says "ok, I want to watch my thing, out!" and ignores my pleas to let me save or whatever. She can be really bitchy about things like that sometimes.

I play a little Anarchy Online, a few console RPG's like Dark Cloud, and Wii games, once I unpack my new step brother's Wii.

I borrowed Chrono Cross from my friend, and still have a save file on my Memory Card. It was massive fun until I couldn't figure out how to get off of Gaia's Navel.

Played some more FFXII today. Went forward in the story and got to a major cutscene and realized I had no fucking clue who these people were. I think it was doctor cid and I'm trying to remember...I think Venat was one of those badass things that manipulate the world or some shit but could remember why I wanted to destroy/use for revenge the suncryst or wtf the venat dudes wanted.
But I kicked everyone's ass.

my game always used to slow down a ridiculous amount during that video, i remember just staring at the garden starting to fly for like half an hour every time i got to that bit and cleaning the disc and stuff trying to get it to work faster
