Yeah, nothing like delivering a double-barrel shot to the face of some inbred mongoloid and having him brush it off. I know it's fantasy, but come the fuck on.

Apparently, in the code itself is a flat 45 damage resistance for those inbreds, while they automatically add damage or ignore armour, or something like that.

From the wiki:

"Swampfolk, just like tribals, do an additional 35 damage (unresistable) to the player with all of the weapons they normally use due to an object enchantment in the DLC's data files. This makes them much more dangerous than most enemies in the game."
