anybody else think this happened because it appears he's simply not doing as well as he used to? he's pretty much saying it right there. maybe he overestimated the peak of his career working with post-hardcore kids, got the gear but now has to master under the table to make proper do, at least the kind of do he's used to by now. under that circumstance i can see why someone would lash out like that from the picture, shouldn't have done that publicly but still.

if he's not doing good, i guess there's not much hope of a career for any of us in the future.

Pure curiosity but I would know witch studio is that?
I mean what is big for him because when I think big LA studio I think:
-Mix room
-Conway (and you need to book when Peter Mokran or Dr Luke are not here)
-Larrabee (booked full time by Jaycen, Dave and Manny)

What left is Record Plant and Ocean way but all those studio aren't place you book with beer budget...

It's funny how badly people want this guy to fail b/c he was making $15k a month making records before he knew what a direct box was. It's exacerbated by the fact that he has made himself available and put thus himself in the middle of all of these conversations so he's directly exposed to all of the shit talking that happens.

Most guys here are too young/new to remember when Sneap would occasionally get trolled here by guys who said he was ruining music by over-editing. It happened and Sneap defended himself although with more grace than Joey does.

Still, every time I open this thread I LOL at the title. As though a dude who threw constant tantrums and stole from our community is vindicated by the fact that someone he didn't like threw a tantrum somewhere else 2 years later.

Eh, it was hyperbole based on this thread but I sort of wish I could take it back now. My point was that he did some big records for big money without formal training, a formal studio or that much experience. It's a combination that fosters jealousy.

I went to his facebook page to see all the hoopla and he has some vacation pics that either he's making good money or his girlfriend or wife has some money. but yeah if he is making that money good for him. seems to me like he is trying to make ends meet on a new lifestyle while trying to fuck the IRS at the same time. I haven't seen him in the Ron Paul thread so I dont know what his beef is with the fed.

As far as assertions that he's not doing as well as he used to, that's completely inaccurate. I'm not going to discuss his rates and scheduling but he's doing absolutely fine in that regard.
