I definitely don't understand why would he ever need to make a "plan" like that and try to get that amount of money under the table... I know IRS and usual VAT business charges are off the roof nowadays and may pose quite a frustration, but it's doable and someone that is making the amount he does it shouldn't be that big of a problem. Unless he spends it on stupid shit, but he always seemed like someone who wanted to save up for a future life/family, so who knows *shrugs*.

Joey's pushing to do alot of mastering because he's figured out that he can take $400 for mastering a cd, throw on some plugs, listen to a loud bit, listen to a quiet bit and then render it without having even listened to the full album. So he can make thousands every day without even really doing all that much work.

Though he's a good producer/mixer it does seem that he doesn't care about much other than making a ton of money.

Yea, he always came off like an arrogant ass...Meaning he came off like nearly every engineer/producer worth their salt, and I on't think that's a bad thing. I think that you kinda NEED to be a bit of an arrogant ass to stay afloat in this business. I don't know the context of his post, but he probably could have handled whatever the situation was with a bit more of a level-headed approach. But hey, I don't know the guy, so I really don't have any room to comment.
