GERMAN BLACK METAL (only) from my collection:
ASKUROR - "Kirchenbrand" split with Vargshelske (also German black metal)
DARK FORTRESS - melodic/thrashy black metal
ABSURD - obviously
BETHELHEM - probably German Black Metal Gods! When I think of German Black metal I think of the innovative sound of Bethelhem! First 3 albums are masterpieces, later albums are masterpieces too but they tend to vary in style becoming more experimental.
DIEST ATER - Reign of Tempests (melodic atmospheric black metal, but very good)
Falkenbach - obvious
GRAVEN - old school raw black
VARGSANG - raw black, Graven sideproject
MORD - suicidal black metal
NARGAROTH - obvious - first albums - must have, later albums - gay emo shit
MOON BLOOD - obviously, but I am personally not a fan
If we are getting into Austrian territory so you might as well add:
THIRD MOON to the list - buzzing saw melodic black metal, I am most familiar with the first 3 albums
NON METAL GERMAN BANDS IN MY COLLECTION INCLUDE
QNTAL - German electro renaissance festival kind of music (NON BLACK METAL)
AGATHODAIMON - gothic symphonic metal (NOT BLACK METAL! this is like Vampire love type of shit)
CORVUS CORAX - hard to even describe. Traditional.

KMFDM / EXCESSIVE FORCE - duh!
DAS ICH - industrial
RAMM...well you know
:WUMPSCUT: - industrial
