Tonight at Canes, Sara got injured on the stage. She's a real trooper. She finished the gig on a chair. Get well Sara. All the best.

Once many years ago Sara had her Achilles tendon in her left leg snap. Tonight during # of the Beast (thanks Asterothe for the correction) her right one snapped.

Sara hobbles backstage for a few minutes then in an act of tough as nails, grit and guts is carried out, propped in a chair with ice bags on her leg and plays 4 more songs! Evil That Men Do, Phantom, Sanctuary and RTTH!

Aja explained that this is an extraordinarily painful injury and is amazed she could go on and finish the show.

Love you Sara and hope your recovery is speedy.

I saw the Maidens in Santee a few months ago...that show was good. Last night's was off the charts, despite the technical difficulties, despite the wacked-out chick in the front messing with the stage and equipment (when she was finally ejected she looked like she was going to tear the security guard's ears off). The professionalism was awesome, hats off to the girls and I bow to Sara for completing the show under such circumstances.

I am forever a fan.
