maybe he doesn't have the personality traits of an incrowder but i think his tastes are pretty spot on. i'm not sure i can remember ever seeing him praise something that wasn't in-crowd accepted tbh.

"Everything Nile has done is terrible. Just stop while you're ahead." - @The Ozzman

"I love me some Black Seeds of Vengeance." - @The Ozzman

"fuck, reminds me how much i love 'to dream of ur'. i usually hate pretentious exoticised metal epics but that thing is fucking massive, it's like their 'triumph of death' or something." - @no country for old wainds

"Black Seeds isnt all that great??? What a brutal as fuck record! Roddy tears it up on that one. then again, Nile is my favorite band." - @Krigloch the Furious

"Nile is simply OK. Half their stuff sound like album fillers and honestly I'd rather listen to an Egyptian band using traditional sound and themes rather than an American one." - @MoSeN

"Black Seeds Of Vengeance seemed like a blueprint for In Their Darkened Shrines. It was markedly inferior, though. The guitars were muddy, and while there were plenty of those cool egyptian melodies they weren't as cool as on ItDS. Also, the tempo changes that were handled so masterfully on ItDS seemed too abrupt here. And the riffs were just better. Also, the vocal performance is good, but there's too much of the incredibly deep indecipherable vocals and not enough of the midrange growls." - @waif

"Come to think of it, anything off of that album is golden. I'll admit, a lot of their other stuff is indeed, a blur." - @The Butt

"I couldn't honestly like or listen to a song called masturbating the war god and be okay with myself. i masturbate no one but myself." - @Ilamaking

all star is ok but it can't beat the masterpiece that is 'place your hands' by reef

edit: i still laugh every fucking time these vocals come in

I don't think I know Reef. That song isn't ringing any bells at least. Must have been exclusively a Britbong phenomenon.
