I wouldn't go that far, but their music is not as bad as people claim it to be. Like I've stated before, the first album doesn't sound like anything they did after it and it's one of their best albums.

That wasn’t horrible or anything. I’ve seemingly lost my taste for pig squeals though, which is lame.




Tbh I liked this because it was a barrage of slam riffs and vocals/lyrics similar to some Cannibal Corpse and Gorerotted album i had heard at the time and those were my favorite death metal back then. No shame here.

A7X isn't anywhere near BLS, or even Trivium in quality. BLS has 2-3 bad albums, but there's so much quality in the discography, and Zakk is widely regarded by metal musicians as an axemaster.

He's collaborated with a lot of bands, not to mention actually being in Black Sabbath both before BLS and supporting them at one juncture during iirc. Why would he get those opportunities if he sucks?

Definitely a pleb, there's no doubt about that. But not on your level. He has okay taste in thrash, but i dont think he lsitens to Devil driver, avenged sevenfold and disturbed like you do.

Three bands I barely even listen to anymore. I did buy Indestructible recently because that's leaps and bounds the best Disturbed album but probably the only one I'll ever actually buy. I didn't even buy the latest Devildriver because I've been losing interest in that band since Beast. Winter Kills is the only 'okay' album outside of the first three anyway.

I might be missing something here, but I can't ever recall Wylde being in Sabbath.

yes, i know he has played in a shit ton of garbage bands. Just because he was friends with a few musicians and was asked to play in their bands means jack shit. Some of the worst Ozzy Osbourne songs and records were the ones he played on. Yeah, ozzy sure knew how to spot talent. Also, when was he in Black Sabbath? I'm not sure that's true but if he was it was probably a replacement for some tour dates or something.
