I didnt really want to read anymore but I wanted to respond and say the Cure is awesome and particularly "Pornography"

The Cure has some decent (if pretty mainstream) semi-gothic rock
-disintegration
-pornography
-faith

I can't fucking choose, I do love Pornography though, but I have a massive soft spot for Faith.

Howzabout, early The Cure 4eva.

Pornography is my favourite, but almost everything they've done is at least worth a listen.

I'm pleased to see that my favourite Kate Bush-album made it to no. 2 in this list. If there had been enough albums allowing me to participate in this round, I would have put it at no. 1, but this wouldn't have changed the end result.
