God damn it all...

And for the record, I actually can't stand most power metal (e.g. Hammerfall, a lot of Firewind, Dream Evil, etc.), making Manowar an even bigger exception for me in that respect.

do the Manowar drinking game

put any 3 cds on random play ... have lots of beers ready, I mean LOTS

everytime Eric Adams says the words "Kill", "Blood" or "Die" you have to take a drink

If he says anything that ends with "...The Night" you have to kill whatever is left in the beer you're holding so if its a fresh one, you're pretty much fucked

See if you make it through more than 4 songs :D

HAHAHAHAahahahahaha, awesomeness - but how could you forget "metal" as one of the words?

Hail To England
Triumph of Steel
Sign of the Hammer
Kings of Metal
Into Glory Ride
Louder Than Hell
Warriors of the World
Battle Hymns
Fighting the World
Gods of War

Yup, thats my order of preference

Hmm, haven't heard anything off the top 3 (except the classic "Blood of my Enemies, of course :) ), I'll have to check 'em out. And I'm encouraged to see "Fighting the World" at second to last, cuz while it has some pretty weak songs (the aforementioned "Blow Your Speakers," for example ;)), I still think the title track is fucking awesome (I love the progression and melody under the chorus, especially with lyrics leading up to it like "Stripes on a tiger, don't wash away / Manowar's made of steel, not clay!!" )

standout tracks:

Hail to England
1. Blood of my Enemies
2. Each Dawn I Die
3. Bridge of Death
4. Kill With Power (I believe Arch Enemy even covered this)

Triumph of Steel
1. Burning
2. Spirit Horse
3. Demons Whip
4. Ride the Dragon

Sign of the Hammer - pretty much the whole cd ;)

I like a few things from "Fighting the World" too but I really like the slightly "darker" Manowar, basically more the older stuff. Its a lot more natural and organic sounding too, not as polished and slick as "Fighting" was.

Find any of those tunes on myspace or something, you'll see what I mean. If you've been diggin on them with the little stuff you do know from them, you're missing on on some seriously awesome Manowar!

I love all the "gay" metal bands, due to my older brother being into them. I love Manowar, Priest, etc. It always makes me laugh how very British sounding Manowar are, with album titles like "Hail to England", and a lot of the lyrics.

OH FUCKING YEAH!!! I´m at the right place here, brothers and sisters of true fuckin´metal. Let us stay together and fight against FALSE FUCKING METAL!!!!!

:D

Fuck the world! Hail and KILL!!
