fuck me ... CATATONIC ... never thought that I would enjoy a SLOW Slayer track ... but this fucker just grinds and pummels.

the production is so LIVE sounding on this disc ... some of these tracks will absolutely crush live ... that is if they ever play them ... but this CATATONIC could create a monster pit

I heard 'Jihad' a while back - can't remember much about it other than it had a somewhat rawer production than I've been used to from Slayer records.

Slayer never sounded too polished on CD's ... if anything, they are one of the few bands that sound very live on CD ... and when playing live they stay very true to the recordings.
