I was able to book a room there yesterday on Travelocity without a problem. This was after a few other websites said they were all booked. If you need a place there try travelocity.com. Anybody else ready to preparty before the show?!

hi...just a word of caution on this...the first year of PP, many people who booked with Travelocity as you did were redirected to another hotel due to overbooking. I was one of them. Just an FYI.
The best place to check is the Best Western site.

Make sure you call that specific hotel (the number's on the PPUSA site) and *confirm* that you have a room - there was a big issue last year with people who supposedly had rooms being told upon arrival that they did not.

It's a good idea to confirm no matter which hotel you're in, anyway, whatwith so many people flocking to the area.

Amen to that. I'll be there Thursday afternoon, going to the Pre-Party at the Riviera again. We should put paper signs on our room doors identifying ourselves by our user names from this forum. That way, people who want to hook up to party can do so, and hopefully others who aren't there for the festival will be left alone. We had so many random concert-goers pounding on our door last year looking for a party, I hate to think of the business travellers who were harrassed by rowdy festival attendees (like me)...

I will be at the Granada in the early afternoon. We should plan a time to possibly meet in the lobby to walk to the preshow party or to just hang out in the afternoon. Obviously anyone and everyone going to progpower would be welcome. What do you guys think?
