i don't own a pod, but i've tried to get good tones from my friends, and failed. and i don't want to sound like someone else, i want to get the tone i get from my vamp on a pod, which can't be done lol... i don't care how well a pod can sound like some dude i'm not interested in, i only care that it can get me my tone

Today, i became converted to using NI Guitar Rig 2 for recording.

i've heard good things about that, but i don't want to use my processor power for something like that when i have a dedicated unit lol
