what is odd is ive heard the live version of superhero and the randals did indeed sound bad-motherfucking-ass... BUT that dosent come through on the mix of the actual cd

The only amps I like other than Marshalls are Randells. When I was a kid, I dicked around with Ampegs and one of the other guitarists in my band (we've got three... a la Maiden) has a Crate half stack. I love Marshalls just as much as anybody else, but they're not the be all end all (no pun intended). Well, actually, for heavy music, I guess... but I like Randalls, too. But other than the rackmount JCM preamps, you can't have a Marshall give you a Roland Chorus clean, or a Fender Vibroking. Just my opinion.
Did anybody notice how the tone/bridge riff to that Disturbed song "Prayer" sound like they were ripped off from Anthrax.
