...telling my friends casually, that the first single of my new Band will be published tomorrow, Mastered by Jens Bogren!!!! :kickass:

I want you to rejoice for me, cause I couldn´t be more satisfied with the work of the last weeks & especially the mix. A few of you guys may know my sister, Juli Mc Lennon (Carlos don´t say any word haha), she´s aboard as well with guestvocals & strings.

Don't wanna be a dick, but shouldn't that post go in "Practice room" now where it says "Promote your work"? :)

Great that you worked with Jens Bogren. Must be cool to get the files back from him.

I'm looking forward to listen to the mix. I'm also considering to get our album (when it's ready) mastered by Jens Borgen.
Btw, did you go for the standard or stem mastering?

Tbh I´m not 100 % sure for myself. Just wanted to share the news. I´d call it a gray zone :) Hope it´s okay and I´m not breaking a rule.

Yeah it was a fine moment as I got the preview clip, really loving the brilliance. Unobtrusive and dynamic as it is appropriate for a ballade like this. We didn´t decide to win the loudness war with that song, at any case :)

@Kimon, we didn´t go with stem mastering, but it´s a nice option for our next releases. Ha! Great, do it. Can´t wait to listen to the finished Psycrence album then. Still listening to the EP quite often. 'Distance' is a magic song!

Thanks, mates!! :kickass: Super corious about the reactions then! It´s my best mix so far...as far as I can assess :) I think, the most moving element of the song is Johnny´s lyrics, it´s about a stroke of fate happened to him. He can´t talk about it, but singing is okay. The lyrics are wonderful!
I´ll publish the youtube lyric video (720p) on my FB wall this evening between 7 and 8 p.m middle european time!

@Stef, yeah! Stuttgart isn´t that far away :) But I will not bring along my sister..forget it!! :lol:
 
damn...at least that way my gf won't be mad at me :D
you could get me and my band a show in your area-maybe I could get you something here
and at least I won't be after your sister (but there are still two single guys in the band :D )
