I agree, i hate threads that have no point or are been discussed a million times though here they turn into a whole different topic which could be interesting.
Sometimes is nice to see old threads alive again but some people don't have the same opinion.

And I agree with you Ymir, I do not like to use the word hate, but I dislike these bonus extras for Japan etc...

Sure I do know the reason why these bonus excist, but still...

Well, in Japan the imports are cheaper than their releases, so every album that gets released in Japan gets a bonus track to make sure fans buy the release.

If I would have a band, I would not release anything in Japan, because it's fine for the fans to buy the import. They would save some money and it's fair to all other fans around the world

Actually you wouldn't do that because from my discussions with musicians, the Japanese also have a much fairer royalty rate and *some* success in Japan means more than *a lot* of success elsewhere as far as being able to live off music...
