Gamma Ray because they haven't performed at PPUSA since III and they haven't headlined before. Also they will soon release a new album, Land Of The Free II. I know it's not the most original title but unlike Queensryche's Mindcrime II, this one lives up to it's name. It starts off slow but around song 4 it grabs you by the balls and doesn't let go.

WASP seems like a long shot since they do perform in the US. But the venues they play are small compared to Center Stage. Also Glenn has made it obvious that he likes this band and loves the new song Heaven Hung Black as well as their album The Crimson Idol. And it just so happens they will be playing the entire Crimson Idol album in their upcoming tour. So what better place to see (and possibly film) one of his favorite bands, then the PP festival in front of 1200 fans.:Smokin:

If not WASP, I would love to see some verson of Ayreon. But I know even Glenn can't perform this miracle. :notworthy

Saw WASP twice this summer. First time enjoyed them some. Second time only made it through 4 songs. ProgPower can do better for a headliner.

Gamma Ray i can see as the headliner, but i won't predicte that they will be there, as Glenn is so full of surprises for next year, there is no telling what direction he is going in, but rest assured it will knock our socks off.

I'd be thrilled to see 90 minutes of WASP at PPUSA IX, having never seen them play live before. I think the over 30 crowd would dig it for the most part. Gamma Ray would kill, too!

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Gamma Ray as either headliner or direct support for PPUSA X.

WASP seem to have issues. Fighting with Motorhead, cancelled shows, blah. I doubt Glenn would ever take the chance or put the effort for that band.

Gamma Ray is the band I believe to be the returning Headliner, instead of Blind Guardian or Edguy or any of those others.

However, I'm quite confused at the idea of WASP playing ProgPower. Let's not go down that road. I wouldn't mind, I just would prefer many other other bands.

I doubt WASP will play. And prey your prediction is false.
I like their music, but I would NOT be thrilled to see them at PP.

Anyone who is a dick to Lemmy needs to be slapped.

MOTORHEAD for PP would be a better fit. They've influenced almost everyone that steps on that stage anyhow.:kickass:

Guessing I'd be grabbing drinks with over 50% of the attendees in Vinyls were Motorhead to headline. Or, over half the attendees would be already partying somewhere else...
