Headphones

The only thing that I don't like, is that larger headphones are a paint to lug around, but other than that they are much better.

Anyone have those fancy Bose noise-cancelling ones? Are they worth the cash?
no. if you have $300 dollars to drop on headphones there are like several better pairs you can buy (grado-325, sennheisser 600/650 and etymotic er4s or er4p for example  )

Yes they do, but why are you going around with headphones on in public? I like to listen to my headphones when I am in my room shut off from all other noises. This way I don't have to crank the volume up to drown out other noises and in the process hurt my ears.

I have an ipod, I almost always have headphones in public.

 $2000 stereo...$10 furniture

My stereo is from 1988 =(.

It's cool though because it has a turn table attatched to it.

Hhahah, I'm glad it didn't have to be me to mention the atrocious interior decorating design in there. Dahling.

My stereo is from...1991. I just bought a new cd changer for it (6 disc and can read mp3 cds!). My speakers are pretty old too, but they rock

I'm moving soon-ish anyway and it'll be set up differently.

Dude, you better figure out a way to take your basement with you if your new place doesn't have one! Or... crack open the floorboards and dig a new one yourself. That would be pretty kvlt.

Quality is subjective. I find the iPods to be of far higher quality than any of the Creative players I've tried/held (which is quite a few because I know a few people who own them) and I'll gladly pay a little extra for that.

I owned a 20 gig iPod and just recently bought the 60 gig version because I got tired of not being able to carry all my music with me (I still can't, but atleast the 60 gig version gets me closer to it). They're certainly not cheap, but for a device that I use roughly 2-4 hours a day, who cares?

I just have a little 1Gb Sandisk mp3 player. I don't need five billion gigabytes of storage. I don't need ALL of my music at the same time. I like to put a few albums on the mp3 player and focus on them for a week or two, and then change it.
