well...........at the request of Tut Ankh Amon, the origin of my nickname is as follows....and like i said, it's long......................................................
i took up bass 5 months ago and the first song i wanted to try my hand at was Bed of Razors...i am such a genius, aren't i? so i went and found the tab and set about trying to learn the damn thing. then my older brother (who plays guitar) and my cousin (a much more experienced bassist) get it into their heads that hey maybe bugging me and saying i'll never learn it would be fun...so then i go and lose my temper (which is why they like bugging me, they think i'm hilarious when i'm mad) and tell em that i'll have it down before the week is done.
i'm so smart, ain't i...obviously i shoulda kept my mouth shut cuz ten minutes and a $20 bet later, i found myself in a very sticky situation. picture this- somebody with no bass experience at all and hardly any experience with guitar, trying to learn Bed of Razors before anything simpler...yeah.
well one week later, after burning off my fingertips learning the song, i go back to those two and tell them i've got it and i can sure as hell play it so they can just shut up already. and that's when my cousin went and decided to modify my nickname 'Halfpint' (given to me beforehand cuz i'm short) by saying, "well, Halfpint Henkka, show us if you can play it and we'll shut up." so i did and proved my worth as a bassist, haha.
and the nickname just kinda stayed that way...never went back to Halfpint...which is great by me!

ps: i also became $40 richer and was able to by Hatecrew Deathroll haha

I live my life in germany in a small little town...(I hate this town!!)
I love to listen to CoB and other Metal, but Children are my favourites!!!
I playkeyboard and piano sinse ten years and hopefully for ten more years;-)
I can speak a bit hungarian...a bit...so: egy, kettö, harum, negy... my mother is hungarian, but a few years ago I hated it when she was trying to teach me this language...my grandfahther nd grandmother are hungarians,too.
I'd like to travel to Finland and drink till I drop, but it's too expensive to drink in Finland...
So, enough about me!
