You need to try writing some songs again..and also solo more. Mike's taking all the glory.

Seriously, I enjoy Peter's solos and notice them missing ALOT on GR. Not saying Mike's solos are bad by any means...I enjoy his solos but I enjoy th econtrasting styles they have with Peter's more so.

Also, I know peter helped write more on the earlier albums I'm curious as to whether or not he wrote entire songs...or just parts of songs and also..which songs were those (namely off of Orchid)

In all seriousness and in topic, one of my favorite solos with Opeth is the second solo below the breakdown near the end in Forest of October. It's the "heavy metal" part where Mike plays a solo, and then Peter finishes the section with a solo. Sure, I think Peter should play some more solos, perhaps they could trade them off more often and have both of them play the solos (I believe they did that sometimes on Deliverance too)

I also think it would be cool to hear what Peter's new songwriting sounds like. I'm sure he's gained more influences and preferences over the years, maybe they could let him write some songs or a whole song of his own on the next album, or perhaps a solo-project of Peter?

On a sillier note, Peter's always been like the blue power ranger, with Mike being the Red power ranger (always the kids' favorite) Green was always a favorite too, that'd be Lopez, bass player is the yellow power ranger and Per would be the pink power ranger. No offense but ever since I saw that pic of Per with the ponytails and the little ribbons at the end of each of them, yeah.... totally the pink power ranger.
